This notice describes the Privacy Policy that applies to all information collected or submitted when you install or use the Linki.app application or any of the other proprietary software applications or services we provide, and when you visit our website at https://linki.app or access our API, and otherwise do business with us.
This Privacy Policy explains how Linki.app collects, uses, processes, discloses, and safeguards information we obtain from and about our customers, visitors to our Sites, and business prospects and partners (collectively, “You”), including information we collect when you visit our websites, use our mobile applications or other services offered by Linki.app, or purchase our products and services (collectively, our “Services”).
It also tells you about your rights and choices with respect to your information, and how you can contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
Your use of the Services is subject to this Privacy Policy and to our Terms of Service that can be viewed at https://linki.app/terms.
1. How Linki.app collects information
For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, “Personal Information” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual. We obtain Personal Information relating to you, our business partner, from various sources described below.
Where applicable, we indicate whether and why you must provide us with Personal Information, as well as the consequences of failing to do so. If you do not provide Personal Information when requested, you may not be able to benefit from our Services if that information is necessary to provide you with the service or if we are legally required to collect it.
1.1. Personal information provided by you
You are not required to create a user account or provide any personal information in order to visit the Linki.app website. You are required to create a user account, however, to use our application. During registration, you are required to provide a name, password and valid email address.
Registration and other information you provide
We collect your information, including your sign-in credentials, name, username and email address (if provided), when you register to use our Services, request that we contact you or provide additional information to you, or attend an event.
Communications
If you contact us directly, such as to request information or access to the Services, or for Customer Support, we may receive additional information about you, such as your contact information and the contents of your communication. We may receive information when you complete a form on our Sites.
Payment information
If you choose to subscribe to our paid subscription service, our third party payment processors will collect and handle your credit card and related payment information.
Payment information provided by you via the Sites will be stored and processed by Stripe. We will collect certain information on the Sites required for Stripe to process payments. All such information is subject to the privacy policy of Stripe (available here https://stripe.com/privacy).
1.2. Information we collect when you use the services
Cookies and similar technologies
We use only first-party strictly necessary cookies. These cookies are essential for you to browse the Linki.app and use its features. For example, we use them to manage your login state. They cannot be switched off. You can set your browser to block or alert you about these cookies, but this may cause parts of the site to not work properly.
We do not store any personally identifiable information in cookies.
Device information
We receive information about your device, including IP address, web browser type, operating system version, mobile device model, device manufacturer and model, language codes.
Additional data
In addition to the information that you provide to us when you register for a user account, we collect information about the URLs, titles and content of the web pages and other information you save to Linki.app.
Do not track feature
Some web browsers incorporate a “Do Not Track” feature. Because there is not yet an accepted standard for how to respond to Do Not Track signals, our website does not currently respond to such signals.
2. How Linki.app uses information
We use your personal information to respond to your requests and perform our contract with you. We may do this, for example, by using your contact information to respond to your inquiries, to provide customer support and to supply any products or services you have requested. In addition, if you choose to use the Linki.app to share content with another person, we will use the recipient’s email address or user account information to provide that service, but we will not use that email address for any other purpose.
We also use non-identifying, aggregated information to analyze the manner in which the Linki.app are used, which also allows us to improve our services. The aggregated information we use includes the manner in which articles, videos, or content has been accessed, saved and shared. We may use aggregated information to offer a list of top sites or content, to make recommendations to our users, to report on usage and trends, to improve the products and services that we offer, or to develop new products and services.

We use your information to provide our Services.

We will use your information to understand and analyze how you use our Services.
Communications
Linki.app will use your information to communicate with you, including to respond to your inquiries and to send emails to an email address you provide to us for customer-service or technical-support purposes.
You have consented to the use of your Personal Information, for example, to receive marketing communications. You may withdraw any consent you previously provided to us regarding the processing of your Personal Information, at any time and free of charge. We will apply your preferences going forward and this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before your consent withdrawal; We need your Personal Information to provide you with the Services, including for account registration, or to respond to your inquiries; We have a legal obligation to use your Personal Information; and We or a third party, have a legitimate interest in using your Personal Information. In particular, we have a legitimate interest in using your Personal Information to conduct business analytics, and otherwise improve the safety, security, and performance of our Services.
3. Sharing of information
Except as set forth below, we do not share any personally identifiable information unless you expressly agree that we may do so.
Sharing as required by law
We will release personal information if required by law. We follow the law whenever we receive requests about you from a government or related to a lawsuit. We will notify you when we are asked to hand over your personally identifiable information in this way unless we are legally prohibited from doing so. When we receive requests like this, we will only release your personally identifiable information if we have a good faith belief that disclosure is necessary or appropriate under applicable law.
Public content
If you choose to make the content you save publicly available, we may share that information with others in accordance with the options you select. In addition, if you choose to use the Linki.app to share articles, videos, or other content with another person, we will send an email on your behalf to that person with a link to the content that you have chosen to share.
We also share aggregated, non-personal data and related usage information, which does not contain any personal information which can identify you or any other individual user, with third parties, including content providers, website operators, advertisers and publishers.
4. Transfer of information
Our computers are in several different places around the world. We also use service providers whose computers may also be in various countries. This means that your information might end up on one of those computers in another country, and that country may have a different level of data protection regulation than yours. By giving us information, you consent to this kind of transfer of your information. No matter what country your information is in, we comply with applicable law and will also abide by the commitments we make in this privacy policy.
5. Data retention
We take measures to delete your Personal Information or keep it in a form that does not permit identifying you when this information is no longer necessary for the purposes for which we process it, unless we are required by law to keep this information for a longer period or to, or such information is necessary to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

Your personally identifiable information is protected by utilizing both online and offline security methods, including firewalls, passwords and restricted physical access to the places where your information is stored. Although we use industry standard practices to protect your privacy, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your personal information or private communications will always remain free from security issues. In the event of a security breach involving your personal information, we will make any legally required disclosures to you in the most expedient time possible and without unreasonable delay, consistent with the legitimate interests of law enforcement, or any measures necessary to determine the scope of the breach and restore the reasonable integrity of the data system.
7. Your rights and choices
Upon request, Linki.app will provide you with information about whether we hold any of your Personal Information. You can update or correct Personal Information (e.g., your email address) by accessing your account. You can also access, delete, rectify your information or correct it by contacting us.
To opt-out of receiving our newsletters or marketing emails, you can follow the unsubscribe instructions included in the emails communications you receive, access the email preferences in your account settings page, or contact us.
Please note that we have the right to reject deletion requests that are unduly burdensome or repetitive or that cannot be honored in light of legal obligations or ongoing disputes, or where retention is necessary to enforce our agreements or protect our or another party’s rights, property, safety, or security.
8. Updates and notifications
We may change this Policy from time to time to reflect new services, changes in our privacy practices or relevant laws. The “Last updated” legend at the top of this Policy indicates when this Policy was last revised. Any changes are effective the latter of when we post the revised Policy on the Services or otherwise provide notice of the update as required by law.
We may provide you with disclosures and alerts regarding the Policy or Personal Data collected by posting them on our website and contacting you through your Linki.app account and/or email address.
